Jesus enters Jerusalem to the sound of hosannas and the waving of palm branches, fulfilling prophecy and setting the stage for His final week. This moment marks the arrival of the true King—humble, intentional, and headed toward the cross.
Psalm 133 reminds us of the incredible blessing that comes when God’s people live together in unity. When we walk in harmony, God pours out His favor—filling our lives and our church with His goodness. Join us as we discover how living in unity glorifies God and invites His lasting favor.
As followers of Jesus, we are called to proclaim the Gospel. Those around us need to hear the good news of the kingdom of God. Sadly, things like fears, doubts, and distractions hold us back. We talk ourselves out of being able to witness to Christ, which dims the light of our witness. This Sunday we’ll explore God’s call on our lives to proclaim His good news and be reminded that we can do it in significant and yet natural ways in those places He already has us.
God calls His people to serve and even gifted each of us to do so. The purpose of serving others is not personal recognition but to build up the faith-family. When we serve one another, the church family is cared for by one another and we all grow in the faith. Faithfulness in serving others is a beautiful duty of every believer in obedience to God. It is a life of gratitude that glorifies Him.
It is God’s will that His people become more like Jesus Christ. When God’s lookalikes (us) look more like Jesus, we become who we were meant to be as His representatives in the world from the very start! The Holy Spirit uses many ways to shape us into the image of Christ—His Word, His people, life’s highs and lows! Growth in Christ is good for you, and it is good for us. Our maturity matters to God!
What is the Church? Is it a building we frequent on Sundays? Is it an event with sermons and songs? First and foremost, the church is a people—the people of God! In the New Testament, we are described as God’s children, adopted into His family, and members of His household. All to say, we are more than a club, an event, and a social gathering. We are a family, rooted in truth, who belong to Christ. And as a family, we get to do life together as we represent Him in the world! Come this Sunday to our family gathering. We’d love you to belong to God together with us.
Jesus explains the greatest commandment in day-to-day life with other people in Luke 10:25–37. He glues loving God with loving others. For Jesus, they’re inseparable! The parable of the Good Samaritan shows us how we love our neighbor as people who claim to love God with our all, all, all, all. The Good Samaritan shows us that Jesus-desired love for others is not restricted to those who deserve love or will love us back. The one who loves—at personal cost, self-sacrifice, without hesitation or limits—is the one who loves others out of love for God. Join us as we explore what it means to love others in a way that displays the glory of God!
