In John 14:15, Jesus tells His disciples, “If you love Me, you will obey what I command.” How does your life demonstrate your love for our God? Take a moment to consider how you can love God through obedience in your life right now. Which command do you want to focus on obeying this week?
How do you show others who God is?
Take a moment to meditate on the attributes of God. Consider how He has shown you His infinite kindness, power, righteousness, and love. Then think of one person in your life who needs to know who God really is. How can you share something about God with that person today?
How does the authority and character of God bring you comfort?
Our deepest comfort comes from knowing the one true God of all creation. He is love and He is light. He is faithful, just, powerful, holy, and kind.
